RIGA, May 3 (LETA) - Effective June 1, water supply and sewerage tariff in Riga will increase by 21.4 percent, from EUR 1.59 to EUR 1.93 per cubic meter, the Public Utilities Commission decided on Friday.

The tariff component for water supply services will be EUR 1.02 per cubic meter, which is EUR 0.17 more than now, while the tariff for sewerage services will be EUR 0.91 per cubic meter, an increase of EUR 0.17.

The tariff for wastewater treatment services will be EUR 0.42 per cubic meter, which is EUR 0.09 euros more than now.

The current Rigas Udens tariffs were approved in 2018.
