Ukrainian refugee children slightly more often choose education in Latvian language

RIGA, May 9 (LETA) - At present, there are 4,021 Ukrainian refugee children attending education institutions in Latvia, LETA learned from the Education and Science ministry.

s many as 2,823 Ukrainian children attend general education schools, including 1,357 children who participate in programs of minority schools, and 1,461 children in schools with the Latvian language of instruction. Five Ukrainian children are attending schools of other categories.
