Latvia among 7 EU member states reporting increase in new car registrations in January-April - ACEA

Latvia was one of the seven European Union (EU) member states to report an increase in new car registrations for January-April 2022 as registration of new cars in Latvia grew by 2.9 percent year-on-year, according to the latest data released by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association's (ACEA).

According to this data, 4,974 new passenger cars were registered in Latvia in January-April 2022.

Among EU member states, new car registrations grew also in Portugal (2.9 percent), Cyprus (3.7 percent), Ireland (4.7 percent), Bulgaria (13.1 percent), Slovakia (13.9 percent) and Romania (35.6 percent).
