TV3 to launch new Russian-language TV channel in Lithuania in June

The TV3 media group on Tuesday announced plans to launch a new Russian-language TV channel in Lithuania from early June.

The TV3 Plus channel will offer a wide range of Russian-language entertainment content, including TV shows, series and films, purchased from outside Russia, the media group said, hoping that Ukrainian war refugees in Lithuania will also be interested in this content.

The new channel will aim to fill in the void after Lithuania suspended rebroadcasting of over 30 Russian-language channels to combat warmongering and propaganda amid Russia's started war in Ukraine in late February.
