Turnover of Pure Chocolate company down 6.6% in 2021

RIGA, July 18 (LETA) - Latvia's Pure Chocolate truffle maker closed 2021 with EUR 2.582 million in turnover, down 6.6 percent from a year before, while the company's profit was EUR 72,011 in contrast to a loss sustained in 2020, according to Firmas.lv.

The company's management reported that last year Pure Chocolate had to deal with serious challenges due to Covid-19 restrictions. The company's turnover dropped because of a slump in the HoReCa segment and the tourism sector, as well as weak demand for gift products.

In 2021, Pure Chocolate cooperated with business partners in Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, US and Japan.
