Turnover of Baltika Latvija Clothing Retailer Down 0.2% in 2018

RIGA, Feb 26 (LETA) Turnover of Baltika Latvija clothing retailer last year reached EUR 10.058 million, down 0.2 percent year-on-year, while the company's profit shrank 28.5 percent to EUR 11,419, according to Firmas.lv business database.

The company's management said that last year's main task was to retail sales on the same level asi n 2017 with a lower amount of goods. The company managed to do it by opening Bastion pop-up store in Galerija Riga.

The company said that results were negatively affected by shortage of laborforce and the late working hours at shopping malls are the main season sales assistants are leaving their jobs.
