There are currently no severe Covid-19 patients in Latvia's hospitals

RIGA, July 18 (LETA) - For the first time in nearly two years since October 2020, there are no severe Covid-19 patients in Latvia's hospitals, the National Health Service informed Monday.

Over the past weekend, the number of Covid-19 patients in Latvia's hospitals rose from 133 to 152, but there were no severe cases among them. There were no reports of new Covid-19 related deaths either.

In all, 34 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospitals over the weekend and 11 others were discharged.
