Talsu Piensaimnieks dairy company posts 0.3% rise in 2021 turnover

RIGA, May 16 (LETA) - Talsu Piensaimnieks dairy company last year generated EUR 9.734 million in turnover, up 0.3 percent from the previous year, while the company's loss was EUR 124,836 in contrast to a profit in 2020, the company reported.

The company's management said in the report that last year the company's operations were affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

Last year Talsu Piensaimnieks purchased 17,800 tons of milk for EUR 6.5 million, which is on the same level as in the previous year, while sale of fresh milk to other companies increased by 3.5 percent.
