Use of Chemical Weapons in Syria Warrants Strong International Reaction - Foreign Ministry

The use of chemical weapons in Syria demands a strong international reaction, believes Latvian Foreign Affairs Ministry.

September 6 and 7, Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (Reform Party) was in an informal meeting of the European Union's foreign affairs ministers in Vilnius, where the consensus was that, judging from the available information about attacks involving chemical weapons in Damascus suburbs strongly suggested that the Syrian government was responsible.
