Support for Russia in connection with war in Ukraine drops in Latvia - survey

RIGA, May 3 (LETA) - Support for Russia in connection with its war in Ukraine has dropped in Latvia, shows a survey conducted by SKDS pollster in April.

SKDS director Arnis Kaktins said on Twitter that as far as the war in Ukraine is concerned, support for Russia in Latvia's Russian-speaking population decreased from 20 percent to 13 percent. Meanwhile, support for Ukraine in this population group rose from 25 percent to 30 percent.

Still, more than half of the surveyed Russian speakers refused to take sides, with 47 percent saying that they did not support any side in the war and 10 percent choosing the answer "hard...
