Slight increase in number of hospitalized Covid-19 patients

RIGA, May 24 (LETA) - In the past 24 hours, the number of Covid-19 patients in Latvia's hospitals rose slightly from 171 to 172, the National Health Service informed.

In the past 24 hours, 21 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospitals and 17 others were discharged.

Of the 51 patients that have been admitted to hospitals with Covid-19 as their main diagnosis, 44 have moderate symptoms and seven are severe cases.
