RIGA, May 3 (LETA) - In the war against Ukraine started by Russia, neither side currently has an advantage, but the situation may change when Ukraine receives heavy armaments, the commander of the Latvian National Armed Forces (NAF) Leonids Kalnins told Latvian Television today.

The commander of the NAF explained that neither side currently has a military superiority, because the number of soldiers on both sides are almost similar. Russia is currently holding on due to the fact that it has not yet run out of armaments and ammunition, but when Ukraine receives heavier armaments, the situation could change.
