Sanitex wholesaler raises turnover 3.2% in 2021

RIGA, May 3 (LETA) - Sanitex, the Lithuanian-controlled wholesaler of household goods and food, closed 2021 with EUR 414.032 million in turnover, up 3.2 percent against a year before, while the group's profit declined 6 percent to EUR 7.514 million, according to information available at Firmas.lv.

The turnover of Sanitex company was EUR 411.091 million in 2021, up 3.2 percent from a year before, and its profit dropped 9.8 percent to EUR 6.555 million.

The group's management said that last year Sanitex achieved its targets despite Covid-19 restrictions in the hotel, cafe and restaurant (HoReCa) sector, which left an adverse effect on the group's business.
