Riga and Tampere to co-host 2023 Hockey World Championship

TAMPERE (Finland), May 27 (LETA) - The Annual Congress of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) decided during a meeting in Finland on Friday that the 2023 Hockey World Championship would be co-hosted by Riga and Tampere, Finland.

The championship in Riga and Tampere will take place from May 12 to 28.

"We are happy for your trust and are ready to host the World Championship with the best conditions for the teams and the best atmosphere for the fans," said Latvian Hockey Federation President Aigars Kalvitis.
