Registration of new companies down 13.8% in four months

RIGA, May 6 (LETA) - In the first four months of this year, 2,865 new companies have been registered in Latvia, which is by 13.8 percent fewer than in the respective period last year, according to Lursoft data.

In April this year, 650 new enterprises were registered, compared to 849 companies registered last April.

The aggregate share capital of the companies registered in April was EUR 3.6 million.
