Professional Councils Necessary to Supervise Hospitals Vinkele

RIGA, Feb 26 (LETA) As the Health Ministry does not have the capacity to supervise everything that is happening in state hospitals therefore supervisory councils are necessary professional instead of political ones, said Health Minister Ilze Vinkele (For Development/For) in an interview with LETA.

Vinkele sees fragmented approach to management of companies with state capital. Therefore, it is planned to establish united quality standards, comparable requirements and promote mutual cooperation among these companies.
