Price of 95-octane gasoline in Latvia hits record high in 3rd week of May

RIGA, May 30 (LETA) - During the third week of May, the price of 95-octane gasoline in Latvia rose by 3.1 percent to a new record-high, while the price of diesel fuel declined 0.8 percent, according to data compiled by the European Commission (EC).

The EC collects weekly data on average fuel prices from Member States. Commission data show that new records have been set each week in recent weeks.
