President Berzins Wants the Government's Work Upgraded

The team of experts, brought together by the president, has issued its second report on upgrading the work of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In order to bring this about, President Andris Berzins has forwarded a proposed bill to Speaker Solvita Aboltina recommending alterations in the Constitution, the Law on the Structure of the Cabinet and Saeima's Rules of Order.

The experts have made their proposals based on experience, taking into account the nation's situation and analysis of it, and knowing how things are run in other democratic nations. The experts have also listened to the viewpoints and evaluations of practitioners.
