Over 4,500 children from Ukraine have arrived in Estonian educational institutions

A total of 4,538 children and young people who have arrived in Estonia from Ukraine had been registered in the Estonian education information system EHIS as of Monday, compared with 4,399 a week ago.

Of these children, 1,168 are in primary education, 3,010 in basic education, 183 in upper secondary education and 177 in vocational education.

There are children and young people from Ukraine in all of Estonia's counties today. According to EHIS, the biggest numbers of children and students from Ukraine have been registered in educational institutions in Harju County, 2,145, Tartu County, 496, Parnu County, 317, East-Viru County, 303, West-Viru County, 283, and Saaremaa, 170
