Number of Flights Handled By Latvian Air Traffic Controller Lgs Up 8.7% in First Two Months

RIGA, March 8 (LETA) - Latvian air traffic controller Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme (LGS), which is responsible for managing air traffic in Latvia, handled 40,787 flights in January and February, which is 8.7 percent more than in the same period in 2018, the company said.

This figure included 11,758 flights to and from Riga, up 2.9 percent year-on-year, and 29,029 transit flights, up 11.3 percent against January-February 2018.
