Number of driving licenses issued in Latvia up 57.5% in four months

RIGA, May 6 (LETA) - The Latvian Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) issued 5,813 driving licenses in January-April 2022, up 57.5 percent against the respective period in 2021, CSDD said.

Of all the driving licenses issued in the first four months of this year, 3,170 licenses were issued to women drivers, up 55.9 percent year-on-year, and 2,643 to men, up 59.4 percent.
