Number of Covid-19 patients in Latvia's hospitals rose to 171 over weekend

RIGA, May 23 (LETA) - The number of Covid-19 patients receiving treatment in Latvia's hospitals increased from 156 to 171 over the past weekend, the National Health Service informed.

In all, 29 Covid-19 patients were admitted to Latvia's hospitals in the past three days and seven others were discharged.

Of the 51 patients hospitalized with Covid-19 as their main diagnosis, 45 have moderate symptoms and six are severe cases.
