NGO launches web portal to help Ukrainian refugees

RIGA, Aug 3 (LETA) - Latvia's nongovernmental movement I Want to Help Refugees has launched a web portal, majasbegliem.lv, to help Ukrainian refugees find housing in Latvia, the movement's representative Linda Jakobsone informed LETA.

The NGO has called on people who own properties they would like to lease or offer for free to Ukrainians to register them on the portal which also provides practical information and advice on housing rent related matters. All information is posted on the portal in Latvian and Ukrainian.

Majasbegliem.lv web portal provides the opportunity to landlords to post their ads for free and reach Ukrainian refugees, ensuring safe communication between the potential tenant and the landlord.
