New Unity and Latgale Party agree on continued cooperation

RIGA, Aug 2 (LETA) - Political alliance New Unity and Latgale Party have signed an agreement to continue cooperation for another four years, or the office term of the 14th Saeima, LETA was told at New Unity.

The cooperation agreement was signed by Arvils Aseradens, an MP and member of the New Unity board, and Sergejs Maksimovs, Balvi regional mayor and member of the Latgale Party board.

Maksimovs underlined that it is currently paramount for Latvia to take care of national security, stability and preserve unity.
