National Alliance nominates Mitrevics for PM ahead of 14th Saeima elections

RIGA, July 26 (LETA) - National Alliance's candidate for the prime minister in the 14th Saeima elections will be Sigulda Region Council Chairman Ugis Mitrevics (National Alliance), as the party's leader Raivis Dzintars said on Tuesday during presentation of the National Alliance's candidates for the elections.

Mitrevics will top the National Alliance's ticket for Vidzeme, followed by Dzintars and Janis Dombrava, deputy head of the National Alliance's Saeima group. In Kurzeme, the top candidates will be Economics Minister Ilze Indriksone, economics minister office's head Arturs Butans and Ventspils Vice-Mayor Andis Zarins.

The National Alliance's ticket in Riga will be topped by Saeima Chairwoman Inara Murniece, Culture Minister Nauris Puntulis, and head of Saeima Foreign Affairs Committee Rihards Kols. In Zemgale, the top three candidates will be Saeima members Edvins...
