Merks signs EUR 2.7 million agreement on construction of kindergarten in Liepaja

RIGA, May 23 (LETA) - Merks construction company on Monday signed an agreement for EUR 2.7 million with Liepaja city council on construction of a new preschool in the city, LETA learned from Merks.

The construction works will be started in June.

Liepaja Mayor Gunars Ansins said that next year Liepaja will have a new, modern kindergarten for 144 children.

The goal of the investment project is to build a zero-energy building, ensuring all necessary functions and infrastructure for a preschool.
