Mcdonald's Planning to Invest Eur 300,000 in Employee Training this Year

RIGA, Feb 27 (LETA) - The McDonald's fast-food chain in Latvia is planning to invest EUR 300,000 this year in training employees, the company informed LETA.

''The aim of McDonald's is to give young persons a platform for the development of their careers, where they can get work experience. We ensure our employees the necessary training, where they can get an understanding of being employed,'' the head of McDonald's personnel and training department in the Baltics Elina Ascuka said.

She said that McDonald's is planning to continue the expansion of its network of restaurants this year and hiring an additional employees - 250 for the summer season and the creation of 50 new jobs.
