Maxima Latvija retailer invests EUR 650,000 in five new concept stores

RIGA, Aug 4 (LETA) - Maxima Latvija retail company has invested nearly EUR 650,000 in five new stores of the Mans Veikals (My Store) concept that have been opened in various regions of Latvia, LETA was told at the company.

Three stores of the united Mans Veikals concept were opened in Riga, Tukums and Daugavpils in June, and two more stores - in Salaspils and Lielvarde - opened on Thursday, August 4.

Elina Stibele, director of the Maxima Latvija retail chains, indicated that the launch of the new format was a major project that was started already last year. So far, 38 Maxima stores have already been overhauled in line with the Mans Veikals concept.

In August, Maxima Latvija plans to turn at least ten other stores...
