Manufacturing Turnover Down 0.3% in July; 1% Increase Year-on-year

Compared to June 2013, manufacturing turnover (according to seasonally-adjusted data at current prices) reduced 0.3 percent in July 2013, of which 0.6 percent on the domestic market, whereas in exports there was an increase of 0.2 percent, the Central Statistical Bureau informs.

In comparison with June 2013, the most notable turnover reduction was recorded in repair and installation of machinery and equipment (repair and maintenance of ships and boats, repair of fabricated metal products, machinery and equipment, installation of industrial machinery and equipment) - 10.9 percent (a 15.1 percent drop on the domestic market and a 23 percent increase in export), in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers - 9 percent (a 11.7 percent reduction in export and a 2.6 percent increase on the domestic market), and in manufacture of beverages - 6.6 percent (an 8.9 percent decrease on the...
