Man who attacked teenager holding Ukrainian taken into custody

RIGA, May 23 (LETA) - A court on Sunday, after recommendation from the State Police, took into custody a man who last week attacked a teenager carrying the Ukrainian flag, LETA was told by the State Police.

The man was taken into custody as a security measure, and the decision can be appealed to the Riga District Court.

s reported, the State Police has detained a man who this past Friday physically attacked a young man in Riga holding the Ukrainian flag, the State Police informed LETA.

The incident was recorded on Friday evening, when the BMW driver got out of his vehicle and attacked a young man (born 2003) holding the Ukrainian flag.
