Lithuania's Annual Inflation At 0.1 Pct

Lithuania's annual inflation was at 0.1 percent, while the monthly inflation in August stood at 2.0 percent, Eurostat, the statistical office of the EU, reports.

Euro area annual inflation was 1.3 percent in August 2013, down from 1.6 percent in July. An year earlier the rate was 2.6 percent. Monthly inflation was 0.1 percent in August 2013. European Union annual inflation was 1.5 percent in August 2013, down from 1.7 percent in July. A year earlier the rate was 2.7 percent. Monthly inflation was 0.1 percent in August 2013.

In August 2013, the lowest annual rates were observed in Greece (-1.0 percent), Bulgaria (-0.7 percent) and Latvia (-0.1 percent), and the highest in Estonia (3.6 percent)...
