Light bills for Elektrum customers to increase 65%

RIGA, July 27 (LETA) - Light bills for customers of the joint-stock power utility Latvenergo's brand Elektrum will increase by an average of 65 percent or by EUR 10 to EUR 12 per month, Latvenergo representative Ivita Bidere told LETA.

LETA has information that, for example, customers who pay the Elektrum Economic tariff will have to pay 67 percent more from September 1 as the tariff will increase from EUR 0.14169 to EUR 0.23671 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
