RIGA, Aug 1 (LETA) - Latvia's 6.4 percent unemployment rate was higher than the European Union (EU) average in June 2022, according to the data of the EU statistical office Eurostat published on Monday

ccording to Eurostat data, Spain reported the highest unemployment rate in June (12.6 percent), followed by Italy (8.1 percent), Sweden (7.6 percent), France (7.2 percent) and Finland (6.5 percent).

Meanwhile, the lowest unemployment rate - at 2.4 percent - was recorded in the Czech Republic, followed by Poland (2.7 percent), Germany (2.8 percent), as well as Malta and Hungary (3 percent...
