Latvian unemployment rate was above EU/eurozone average in March - Eurostat

RIGA, May 3 (LETA) - Latvia's unemployment rate was higher than the European Union (EU) and eurozone average and reached 7 percent in March 2022, according to the data of the EU statistical office Eurostat published on Tuesday.

ccording to Eurostat data, Spain (13.5 percent), Greece (12.9 percent), Italy (8.3 percent), Sweden (7.6 percent) and France (7.4) recorded higher unemployment than Latvia in March.
