Latvian-Russian economic cooperation agreement suspended

RIGA, Aug 4 (LETA) - The Latvian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on economic cooperation has been suspended this week, according to the Foreign Ministry's statement printed in the government gazette Latvijas Vestnesis.

The agreement was suspended on August 1. On the same day, the Latvian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and cultural cooperation was also suspended.
