Latvia sees faster rise in producer prices in March than EU and eurozone average - Eurostat

RIGA, May 3 (LETA) - In March, producer prices in industry in Latvia increased by 37.5 percent compared to the third month of 2021, which is a faster increase than in the European Union (EU) and the euro area on average, according to data published by the EU statistical office Eurostat on Tuesday.

The fastest growth among all EU Member States was in Ireland (+ 106.1 percent), Romania (+ 67.6 percent) and Denmark (+ 62 percent). In Estonia, producer prices increased by 47.6 percent, but in Lithuania - by 39.5 percent.
