Latvia's economic growth may slow down at end-year - Kazaks

RIGA, July 26 (LETA) - Latvia's economic growth could slow down at the end of the year, the Bank of Latvia Governor Martins Kazaks said in an interview with Latvian Television on Tuesday.

Latvia's economy is currently still growing, but the fall will be a difficult period and economic growth could slow down at end-2022.

"It is very likely that Latvia's economic growth will slow down around the turn of the year, there may even be a technical recession, that is, the economy will shrink slightly quarter on quarter, but there is no reason to talk about a very deep crisis at the moment," said...
