Latvia reports faster producer price growth in June than EU/euro area average - Eurostat

RIGA, Aug 3 (LETA) - In June 2022, Latvian industrial producer prices increased by 45.6 percent against the same period in 2021, which is faster than in the European Union (EU) and the euro area on average, according to data published by the EU statistical office Eurostat on Wednesday.

The steepest annual producer price growth among EU member states was recorded in Romania (61.2 percent), Denmark (55.5 percent) and Lithuania (52.5 percent).

Estonian producer prices climbed went up 49.8 percent year-on-year.

In June 2022, producer prices rose in all EU member states.
