Latvia records 1,368 new Covid-19 cases, five deaths

RIGA, July 26 (LETA) - Another 1,368 people in Latvia tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed.

Of the 4,669 Covid-19 tests carried out on Monday, 29.3 percent returned positive.

Of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 545 people were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and 823 people were fully vaccinated.

Latvia's cumulative two-week number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population rose from 752.6 to 772.5, according to CDC data.
