Latvia records 1,250 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths on Thursday

RIGA, July 22 (LETA) - Another 1,250 people in Latvia tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed.

Of the 3,788 Covid-19 tests carried out on Thursday, 33 percent returned positive.

Of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 531 people were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and 719 people were fully vaccinated.

Latvia's cumulative two-week number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population rose from 6,49.4 to 684.4, according to CDC data.
