Latvia is prepared to be involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine - Levite

RIGA, July 24 (LETA) - Latvia is ready to get involved in the process of rebuilding Ukraine, First Lady Andra Levite said at the summit "Ukraine and the world: We rebuild the future together" in Kyiv on Saturday.

"Latvia, from the government to businessmen and civil society, is with Ukraine today, tomorrow and certainly also after Ukraine's victory in this brutal war. Latvia is ready to participate in the process of rebuilding Ukraine," said Levite at the summit organized by Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska.

The presidential office told LETA that Levite welcomed the global efforts to begin the reconstruction of Ukraine, because "they will not only restore Ukraine's infrastructure and economy, but also cultivate the best knowledge, practices and technologies to restore the country and create a modern, European Ukraine."
