Latvia Interested in Developing Cooperation With Germany in Digital Sphere and Science - Vejonis

RIGA, Feb 25 (LETA) Latvia is interested in developing cooperation with Germany in the digital sphere and science, as well as transport and logistics, Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis said during a meeting with Hamburg Mayor Peter Tschentscher.

As LETA was told at the president's office, in the conversation with the Hamburg mayor which took place during his state visit to Germany, Vejonis indicated that both countries are engaged in an active political dialogue and constructive practical cooperation both on the bilateral level and in multilateral formats, like the European Union (EU) and NATO. The Latvian president also noted historical ties between Riga and Hambug as Hanseatic cities.
