Latvia confirms 236 new Covid-19 cases, two deaths

RIGA, May 24 (LETA) - Another 236 people in Latvia tested positive for Covid-19 and two persons died of the coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed LETA.

Of the 3,663 Covid-19 tests carried out on Monday, 6.4 percent returned positive.

Of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 80 people were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and 156 people were fully vaccinated.
