Latvia confirms 229 new Covid-19 cases, two deaths

RIGA, May 13 (LETA) - Another 229 people in Latvia tested positive for Covid-19 and two persons died of the coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed BNS.

Of the 2,805 Covid-19 tests carried out on Wednesday, 8.2 percent returned positive.

Of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 105 people were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and 124 people were fully vaccinated.
