Latvia confirms 188 new Covid-19 cases, three deaths

RIGA, May 27 (LETA) - Another 188 people in Latvia tested positive for Covid-19 and three persons died of the coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed LETA.

Of the 2,228 Covid-19 tests carried out on Thursday, 8.4 percent returned positive.

Of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 70 people were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and 118 people were fully vaccinated.
