Latvenergo invests EUR 160,000 in four new charging stations on Pulkveza Brieza Street in Riga

RIGA, July 21 (LETA) - Joint-stock power utility Latvenergo has invested approximately EUR 160,000 in four new charging stations at 12 Pulkveza Brieza Street in Riga, as Ansis Valdovskis, head of Latvenergo's charging network, told LETA.

This is a long-term investment that will likely pay off within ten years, said Valdovskis.

The new charging stations at the Latvenergo main building have a charging capacity of up to 150 kilowatts, which makes them fast chargers. A car with a battery capacity of 50 kilowatt-hours (kWh) can be charged on the average in 15 minutes, provided that the car is charged from 5 percent to 85...
