Kpv Lv Sees Three-fold Drop in Party Ratings Since October

RIGA, March 2 (LETA) - Since the 13th Saeima elections in October, KPV LV has seen a substantial drop in popularity - from the second most popular party in the country to the seventh most popular, Latvian Television reported last night.

According to the SKDS survey, if elections were to be held in February, KPV LV would get 3.5 percent of the vote, compared to 11.5 percent in October.

Meanwhile, New Unity has seen a rise in popularity - from 4.4 percent in October to 6.5 percent in February, becoming the third most popular party in the country.

The Union of Greens and Farmers has also seen a slight increase in popularity since October of last year - from 5.4 percent to 5.7 percent, and is currently the sixth most popular party in the country.
