Latvia's inflation rate above EU and eurozone average in April - Eurostat

In April, Latvia's annual inflation was above the average inflation rate recorded in the European Union's (EU) and the eurozone, according to the latest data released by Eurostat on Wednesday.

Latvia reported a 13.1 percent inflation rate for April.

The highest inflation rate in April was recorded in Estonia (19.1 percent), followed by Lithuania (16.6 percent) and the Czech Republic (13.2 percent).

Compared to April 2021, consumer prices rose in all EU member states in April of this year.
