Hundreds of allied paratroopers to take part in Swift Response 22 exercise in various locations of Latvia next week

RIGA, May 5 (LETA) - Next week, hundreds of allied paratroopers will be parachuting from military aircraft in various locations in Latvia as part of the Swift Response 22 military exercise, LETA was told at the National Armed Forces (NAF).

The active phase of the Swift Response 22 exercise will take place from May 9 to 14 in the vicinity of Jekabpils, Aluksne and Lielvarde, as well as at the Adazi military base near Riga.

The active phase of the drills will involve several tactical exercises that have been integrated in the spring phase of Latvia's Namejs 2022 maneuvers.
