Highest number of Covid-19 cases since March recorded in Latvia on Tuesday

RIGA, July 20 (LETA) - Latvia confirmed 2,093 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, the highest figure since March 30 when 2,447 people tested positive for the coronavirus, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed.

Of the 5,354 people tested in the past day 39.1 percent were diagnosed with Covid-19, which is the highest percentage since March 22 when 40.3 percent of Covid-19 tests returned positive.

Of the latest Covid-19 cases, 874 people were unvaccinated or had not competed their vaccination course and 1,219 were fully vaccinated.
